Ocimenes are a group of isomeric hydrocarbons, include α-Ocimene, cis-β Ocimene and trans-β Ocimene. They are the isomer of Myrcene. This group natural extracted from Baseil oil, Lavender oil and Clary sage oil. Also can be synthesis ed from α-Pinene at high temperatures of pyrolysis.

Ocimenes appear colorless liquid, has floral and green odor character. Which can used as ingredient for fragrance formula, also used as material to synthesis Alloocimene.
