1.2 Static Data by China Adhesives and Tape Industry AssoCiation (CATIA)
Thanks for the work by the association members, the statistic company numbers were reported increasing to 44. There are another 58 members and non-members were registered in this report. The trend in the report was unified and similar as data from ARAC, ASC and FEICA. Value and volume of HMA are identified as formula types and non-formula types.

There are 44 numbers of Chinese star companies in China HMA industries, production volume above 10k tons per year were 15 companies, another 7 companies of volume between 5k to 10k per year.

1.6 HMA Foreign Companies on China
Three foreign companies were registered in the report, the volume was 19.62% and the volume was 26.51%. Adhesives united price of foreign companies were CNY 25.02 per KG, that’s higher than the average level in China, CNY 18.52 per KG.
2.1 Type of Hot Melt Adhesives
EVAR for hot melt adhesive is the grown points, which used for hot melt adhesive film for solar. EVAR film was grown at a high speed in 2015, keep 35% CAGR, leads EVA and EVAR technology adhesives grown at 17.13% CAGR, and production volume was 326.1M tons.
Styrenic block copolymers (SBC) were grown and keep stabilization. The application of label PSA for the paper package in a high development speed, HMPSA for personal care was grown stabilized. HMPSA for tapes fell into slow.

2.2 Market Share of Hot Melt Adhesives
Paper, cardboard, and the retails applications were the key HMA markets. The footwear, leather, and structures were the fast-growing markets. Automotive was the innovation focus market.
